All the ingredients

  • 1 can of d’aucy white beans (400 g)
  • 1/4 of a 200 g can of D’aucy carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoon of hot paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of curry 
  • 1 tablespoon of oil 
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 1 large 765 g can of peeled tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Optional : smoked meat

The preparation stages

  1. In a mortar and pestle, add half of the cumin, the minced garlic, grated ginger, and the paprika. Crush the mixture into a paste. 
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the remaining cumin, then the paste from Step 1 and the peeled tomatoes.
  3. Add 1 cup of water and boil for 3 minutes. Add the beans and carrots, season with salt. 
  4. Cover with a lid and leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
    According to taste, serve with fresh parsley, hot pepper, turmeric, and curry.
