All the ingredients

  • 375 g ratatouille (375 g can)
  • 100 g onion
  • 10 g garlic
  • 300 g chicken
  • 40 g grated cheese
  • 80 g smoked bacon lardons
  • 150 g single cream
  • 1 egg (for glaze)
  • 2 shortcrust pastry

The preparation stages

  1. Sauté the lardons with the cubed chicken, diced onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Turn out into a bowl and add the cream, egg, and cheese.
  3. Lay the puff pastry into a buttered pie tin, then add the ratatouille.
  4. Next, add the chicken mixture.
  5. Lay the second sheet of pastry over the top, then pinch the edges together after brushing with egg wash.
  6. Bake in a hot oven, 200°C for 45 minutes.
