All the ingredients

  • 300 g chickpeas
  • 200 g beetroot
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • salt
  • parsley

The preparation stages

  1. Pour some oil into a frying pan, and fry the sesame seeds until they turn golden brown, then remove the pan from the heat.
  2. Remove the seeds with a spoon, and allow them to cool so that they will become more tasty.
  3. Blend the garlic in a blender until it becomes a creamy paste. Add a little water if the paste is too dry.
  4. Add the beetroot, chickpeas, cumin powder, olive oil, salt, lemon juice and golden sesame seeds.
  5. Mix everything together until it becomes a creamy paste.
  6. Serve the hummus garnished with parsley and olive oil.
