All the ingredients

  • 1 jar of d’aucy white asparagus
  • 1 carton of prepared tomato sauce
  • 100 g parmesan shavings
  • 12 slices of baguette
  • 4 good slices of Parma ham
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • to taste olive oil
  • to taste fresh basil, rocket
  • 12 Cherry tomatoes
  • to taste fleur de sel, ground pepper

The preparation stages

  1. Cut a baguette diagonally, for 12 longer slices.
  2. Toast the bread lightly on one side, then rub it with garlic.
  3. Coat the slices with the tomato sauce, then lay on the slices of ham and some asparagus, cut obliquely.
  4. Finish with some leaves of rocket, basil, quartered cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan shavings.
  5. Season with a little olive oil, fleur de sel, and fresh-ground pepper.

Best served warm (heat the bread and tomato sauce before assembling).
